Coach Marissa brings the same passion and intensity to coaching that she displayed on the field throughout her playing career. With a deep understanding of the game from the opposite side of the plate, she offers a unique perspective that makes her a valuable asset to the KC Athletics staff.

Marissa began her coaching journey with her travel ball team, where she quickly discovered a talent for helping young pitchers refine their mechanics and elevate their performance. Through private instruction, she has continued to support athletes in reaching the next level of their development, focusing on building confidence, consistency, and a strong mental game.

A standout athlete at Fresno City College, Marissa concluded her playing career as a First-Team All-American. She also earned both First-Team and Second-Team All-Central Valley Conference honors, highlighting her skill and dedication on the mound.

Coach Marissa is committed to helping athletes grow both on and off the field, providing instruction that is high-energy, detailed, and built on experience.

Coach MacKenna has been an outstanding addition to the KC Athletics coaching staff, bringing a dynamic combination of energy, technical skill, and a deep understanding of the game. She works primarily with our infielders and both slappers / right-handed hitters, offering specialized instruction rooted in both experience and a strong analytical approach.

A 2023 graduate of Fresno State, MacKenna played third base and second base for the Bulldogs, competing at a high level in Division I softball. Her on-field experience, particularly in the infield, gives her a well-rounded perspective when it comes to developing athletes in both defensive fundamentals and offensive strategy.

Coach MacKenna is known for her strong ability to build meaningful relationships with players, helping them grow in confidence and skill. She takes pride in creating a positive and high-energy training environment where athletes feel supported and challenged to reach their full potential.

Her commitment to analytical development, combined with her passion for the game, continues to make her an invaluable part of the KC Athletics program.

Coach Aerik has been a key member of the KC Athletics staff for the past two years, bringing over 11 years of coaching experience and a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed at the collegiate level. His coaching journey includes impactful roles at Cerro Coso College and Fresno City College, where he contributed to the development of high-level athletes and competitive programs.

With extensive knowledge of college-level expectations and the recruiting landscape, Coach Aerik provides invaluable guidance to athletes looking to take their game to the next level. His ability to prepare players mentally, physically, and strategically sets him apart and reinforces our mission to develop well-rounded, college-ready athletes.
